Caroline Horn serves as the Vice President of Student and Family Services for LUMIN Schools (Lutheran Urban Mission Initiative, Inc.). Counseling is not only a career choice but a mission for Caroline.  She has been a disciple of Jesus Christ for 30 years and believes that all children/parents are created in the image of God; they have been equipped with amazing gifts that are waiting to be unleashed through Christian discipleship.  Counseling students and families provides this discipleship opportunity. 

Caroline has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Concordia University Wisconsin and a double major in Psychology and Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  Prior to accepting the position with LUMIN, Caroline was counseling/teaching families at Atlas Preparatory Academy and Gilchrist Christian Academy. 

Caroline has been married for 31 years and is the proud mother of two daughters, one 25 and one 29.   Both of her daughters are currently in advanced degree programs, one in Madison, Wisconsin and the other in Munich, Germany.
